Fifteen

Inspired by the ancient mosaic works of the Byzantine era, when the art reached its highest level of quality, Maja Bark has created an interactive tile system for wall decoration. The engineering is simple and works just like Sam Lloyd's 15 puzzle where you can move about the tiles one at the time. Lloyd discovered that to solve the puzzle it helps to think of moving the tiles in a zigzag or a spiral motion and not as we usually think, for example as we read, in a straight order of lines.

The tiles come in different colours so you can create the image or structure that you want. If we think in new ways though, and not in straight lines, there are endless possibilities to create new images of the original one.
